C’est pour répondre à ces questions que Barbara Longhi, la grande spécialiste de Dürer, enquête malgré elle sur les faits étranges qui entourent les attentats de Paris en 1995. Conférencière dans la prestigieuse École du Louvre, elle va se trouver aux prises avec un groupe d’étudiants, les Hamadryas, qui ne sont pas uniquement là pour parfaire leur culture artistique.
En décryptant Melencolia, la célèbre gravure de Dürer, elle va tenter de déjouer leur diabolique projet…
Hamadryas est une œuvre riche, pleine de symboles et de secrets, que cinq siècles d’analyse n’avaient pas encore percés à jour.

Né en 1961, Ronald Bonan est agrégé et docteur en philosophie, spécialisé en phénoménologie. Auteur d’une dizaine d’essais (Platon, Les Belles Lettres, 2014 ; Merleau-Ponty, Les Belles Lettres, 2011), de pièce de théâtre et romans (Le Canapé, Création au théâtre de Lenche à Marseille, 2010 ; Ambulances, L’Amourier, 2005).
